CMGT 2211 - Construction Materials and Methods Lecture: This 2-credit hour lecture course is designed to introduce the fundamental materials and methods with which construction projects are completed. Constructors need an understanding of concrete, steel, wood, glass, insulation, gypsum products, and other construction materials and the methods used to put these products in place at the workface. An understanding of the properties of these products and assemblies and the terminology associated with each of them is essential to their ability to manage the construction process. This understanding is the core of this course. Co-requisite CMGT 2212 - Construction Materials and Methods (Lab). Minimum grade requirement of C; Service Learning participation required.
