The success of human societies is intertwined with understanding of Earth’s materials, features, and processes. This introduction to the fundamental principles of Earth science focuses on the structure of the Earth and its interior, natural hazards, mineral and energy resources, water resources, the energy transition, climate, and other topics of importance. May not be taken by Earth Science majors. Co-requisite ERTH 1001
