NURS 4153 - Jurisprudence

Teaches the legal issues affecting the nursing profession today and prepares nursing students for the required state nursing jurisprudence examination. The course will prepare students to problem solve legal and ethical issues. The course focuses on nursing application of management skills, decision-making process, problem-solving and advanced legal knowledge within the nursing profession.
Non-Course Prerequisite(s):
must be a third- or fourth-semester nursing student or an RN Transition student
