MLGE 4220 - Science in Middle Grades Credit(s): 3
This course is designed to help teachers become more competent in the development and use of hands-on, inquiry-based science activities. The course is based on the process skills, materials and goals of national science curriculum programs. Repeated: No Prerequisite Course(s): MLGE 3301, MLGE 3201, and READ 3340 Non-Course Prerequisite(s): Admission into educator preparation Co-requisite Course(s): MLGE 4301 (4201/4111), MLGE 4220 (Core and Science Only), MLGE 4240 (Core and Math Only), READ 4210 (Core and ELAR Only)C or higher required for all courses; failure to achieve a C or higher in MLGE 4301(4201/4111) and/or failure of two or more corequisites will delay proceeding to Clinical Teaching semester. Failure of MLGE 4301 (4201/4111) will result in removal from EPP. Registration Restriction by Department Department of Education Studies
