Students who are majoring in a field of study other than Earth Sciences and Geologic Resources are eligible for this minor. A minor in Earth Sciences may be especially beneficial to students majoring in fields that deal directly or indirectly with Earth materials and processes, which is an ideal complement to a number of majors in the natural, social, and applied sciences. These include agriculture, anthropology, archaeology, biology, business, chemistry, construction, education, engineering, environmental science, forestry, geography, soil science, and spatial science, to name a few.
